Waiting for the Summer recipe
February’s cocktail, Waiting for the Summer, comes from bartender Victor Tabernero who can’t wait for the warmer weather to come back to Edinburgh!
You’ll need a Boston shaker, a Hawthorne strainer, a fine strainer and a chilled coupe glass.
Ingredients
50ml Havana 3-year-old rum
20ml Midori melon liqueur
20ml peach purée
20ml lemon juice
25ml apple juice
15ml gomme syrup
Garnish: melon slice
Method
– Add all of the ingredients to a Boston shaker
– Add some cubed ice and shake
– Double strain into a chilled coupe glass
– Garnish with a melon slice
