Bartender Joseph Brown shares the recipe for this week’s cocktail, The Luchador.
You’ll need a Boston shaker, Hawthorn strainer and a coupe glass.
35ml Ocho 8 blanco tequila
25ml lychee liqueur
20ml agave syrup
20ml egg white
25ml lemon juice
Garnish: viola flower
- Add the tequila, lychee liqueur, agave, egg white and lemon juice to a Boston shaker
- Dry shake, then add ice and shake again (this ensures that the egg white will be incorporated fully with the other ingredients)
- Strain the contents of the shaker into the glass and garnish with a viola flower
